Husker Bowl Game

For the Husker 2009 season bowl game Adelynn wanted to show her Husker spirit. When she was crying she thought we might not win. Go Huskers!

Nana Julie's birthday

It was Nana Julie's birthday so we all went out to celebrate with Margaritas! Adelynn got dressed up for the occasion.

Christmas at the Reisers

For Adelynn's first Christmas we were at the Reisers, the Bennett family came too and we had a great time during the blizzard of 2009! Emily & Lauren got American Girl dolls from Santa so they were very happy. Adelynn enjoyed visiting family at Great-Grandma and Grandpa Reisers and just cuddling with relatives. Overall it was a great first part to our vacation...we even got snowed in an extra day!

Adelynn's two months old

Adelynn turned 2 months on December 20th, so just before the holidays started. At this point she was still a handful but cuter than ever!

Omaha Nursery

I knew we would be leaving Omaha soon, so I took a bunch of pictures of the Nursery just so I could remember it. At our house in Norfolk it looks very much the same only now I have the beautiful quilt Grandma Margaret made on the wall. It is perfect.

Nana Juile & The New Tummy Time Mat

So Nana Julie has been a huge help throughout the Adelynn process. She stayed with us for 3 weeks after Adelynn was born (which was a must - I don't think I could have done it without her). She also came back to Omaha to help us stage our house. She is wonderful at it and I think has found a new profession. During one of her breaks though she found time to cuddle with Adelynn and Derby. Adelynn also got an early Christmas present from Aunt Nicole, a tummy time mat, which still is a ton of fun for her to this day.

Meeting the Paulsens

During the Thanksgiving holiday we traveled over to Laurel Nebraska for Adelynn to meet her Great-Grandma and Grandpa Paulsen. Aunt Elizabeth was there as well and Adelynn had a great time getting spoiled. Great-Grandpa was quite smitten with Adelynn and all three of them fought over who got to hold her.

Thanksgiving 2009

Adelynn's first Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Reiser's. Where she met Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Reiser. Millie might not always remember things the best these days but the minute she held Adelynn she was like the baby whisperer. Adelynn was all smiles and very calm with Millie. She also got to meet the Hammerlun family.

Rachel, Craig & Adelynn

So we all adjusted to our new family member! Some of us better than others...Craig spent more time on the exercise ball than ever, and Derby pouted. He didn't like be demoted, but as she gets older I think he will enjoy a playmate more and more. There is also a photo of Adelynn in her little track suit, and I say little because she never wore it before and I shoved her into it...so I could say she wore it at least once:) She wasn't very happy with me.

Adelynn's one month

Adelynn is about one month old in these photos! She sure grew a lot in that first month. Kelly from BVH came over to visit, and to try to help with all her colic baby girls experience:) Grandma Reiser showing off her matching blue eyes.

Adelynn's first Halloween

Her first Halloween was pretty low key as she was only 11 days old! This next year though I can't wait to get her an adorable costume!
